PLANETWATCH at Ruislip Lido. The West of London Astronomical Society invites you to observe Saturn, Mars, and other night sky objects at Ruislip Lido from 7.30 to 10 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 19th, 20th and 21st March 2010.
This will be a wonderful chance to view Saturn and Mars through a wide variety of WOLAS members’ telescopes. If the skies are reasonably clear we may also get the chance to observe other night sky objects, including galaxies and star clusters. Members of WOLAS will be on hand to help and to answer any questions you mayhave. Bring your family and friends, it should be great fun, as well as informative. Don’t forget to bring warm clothing, the nights are very chilly at this time of year.
Ruislip Lido is off Bury Street.Entry is via the gate adjacent to the free car park at the end of Reservoir Road HA4 7TY. No admission charge.
