4 April, IYA Main Event - West Country 2009

Wiltshire Astronomical Society have now finalised the details for our main speaker event in 2009 for IYA. This is in conjunction with the William Herschel Society.

Saturday 4th April at 2pm, being held at the prestigious BRLSI, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath

We are honoured to have Ian Ridpath, editor of Norton's Sky Atlas, amongst the 40+ titles he has either authored or edited, as well as being a notable broadcaster, publisher giving the talk entitled

"Pictures in the Sky - The Origins and History of the Constellations"

I'll probably be teaching in Greece that week. I hope you and Andy will be demonstrating your solar telescopes. Good luck.
