HI Ralfy,
It certainly is out there.Its not something Id show to just anyone as all it seems is a point of light,but following this little world as it loops through the familiar pattern of the Sickle is a treat that only a enthusiast can appreciate.[8D]Its not one for the unimaginative non astronomer.[:D]

Ahh Ill Need To Take A Trip Out To The Local Sheep Feild With My Bino's I Think My House Blocks Out Virgo Pretty Much All Night! [:(]

First time trying to see Vesta or indeed any asteroid so had a look tonight and hope for a clear night again to check that I did actually see it. I'm not set up for camera work yet so visual only atm.
Very good night tonight with 15 x 70 bins but a touch of condensation at times. Still managed to log quite a few objects of interest.

Im pleased to say I saw Vesta for the first time tonight.

Also saw a rather good shooting star while walking the dog.
