Sorry if this has already been posted - I could't find it in the forums

Very interesting,we may live to see a (relatively) nearby star explode! And they say it wil be visible in the daytime sky

Very interesting link Jamie,
Thanks for the heads up. The only problem is that these things are extremely difficult to predict and "some time soon" could be hundreds or thousands of years. Personally I hope it's a lot sooner than that, it's about time we had a major astronomical event in our neck of the woods!
