Is it possible to compile a list of all of the worthwhile and useful freeware programs available?

High Damien, why not have a look on ebay? I bought Starrynight pro 4.5 from there a couple of months ago and only play £26 for it and I have seen it cheaper on there since I bought it.[:)]

I use Cartes du Ciel which is very powerful, internet upgradeable for new objects etc. and is free of charge - brilliant!
