Unfortunately, there was a lot of glare from the Moon. In these types of shot, I usually superimpose a shorter-exposure shot of the Moon over the over-exposed image. This shows some lunar detail. I have some better examples in my gallery:

I do! Not only did I enjoy the acts, I remember the audience throwing cans and bottles at people blocking their view. On the way out, someone shouted for "Wally" and we all joined in.
