Baker Street Irregular Astronomers Meeting

Baker Street Irregular Astronomers Meeting

Postby pulsar » Wed Dec 15, 2010 3:23 am

The next meeting of our astronomical society will be on the 5th of January 2011 at the Hub in Regents park London at 18:30.

The event is free to attend and is being held to coincide with the BBC stargazing live television event which will be shown on BBC2 from the 3rd until the 5th of January. So I would encourage anyone in London who is interested in the night sky to come along.

And you'll see that you can do some useful astronomy from a city.

I look forward to seeing you there.[:D]

Unforurtunately The Baker Street Irregular Astronomers meeting tonight has been postponed due to adverse weather conditions. A real shame as all of us were really looking forward to this event. Once again our apologies but we can't control the weather. Our next meeting is scheduled for the 26th January 2011.
