Buy and sell your astronomy equipment here

I would just like to say how disapointed I am. I sold this camera to Graham Fletcher for £160 as I though it was going to a fellow astronomer. He now has it for sale on astrobuysell for £275.

I'm not sure if he is a trader and paying for this service and if he is then fair play he needs to make a profit for his business but he never once said he was. I wonder if the inland revenue are aware of his activities.

They are now........................

The camera i am selling is the special edition "Silver" model and not the camera i bought from Woodsy.

I hope this has cleared up the situation.

I have just e mailed Woodsy with regards to his comments and have explained that bthe camera i am selling is the special edition "Silver" model and not the Black body camera which i bought from him>

Hopefully Woodsy will reply with a thread explaining his error.

Would the Moderators of this site please take note of this situation and if necessary get in touch with Woodsy abou the totally misleading information that has been said about this particular incident.

regards

I have just looked at the camera on astrosell and the body is not the one I sold Graham and I apologise unreservedly.

As for the rest of the kit I'm not sure but the elastic round the plug etc which I boxed sure looks the same. How coincidental and why would someone buy a camera and sell the same model the same day???

I understand if the moderators want to remove this but in the meantime I will just leave it for others to form their own opinions.

I can understand you're annoyance, but at the end of the day, you knew what it was worth, sold it for less than that, so if someone wants to make a turn on it you can hardly blame them.

I've no problem with that Adam, if you're a trader say so, I don't mind they have to make a profit, but financially support the sites that provide a free service for people who wish to occasionally buy and sell and are not interested in making a profit. And pay taxes like other legit businesses have to.

You seem to be missing the point.

This is not the camera i recently purchased !!!

This is a special edition Silver model that i am hoping to sell !!

It may well be that i get no offers at all at the price of £250 but you cannot knock a guy for trying to sell what is his own possesion.
