It might be interesting if they could mimic live sunspot patterns and features visible in hydrogen alpha or calcium K.

It's a complete disregard for people who enjoy the night sky.i'm quite sure that within a very short space of time,they will be inundated with complaints from astronomers, parents of young children and from the carers of people who may be very confused by this big floating light bulb.They will possibly then realise, that they have not put any thought into this hair-brained scheme whatsoever.
