"Can anyone help"

"Could anyone help me"

I am looking for replacment focuser for a budget refractor telescope i would appreciate any help on this, I even considered making one my-self but i could be a bit tricky making the rack and pinion section.

For a long focus refractor, a simple sliding fit should be adequate. Otherwise why not buy a scrap "department store" scope (car boot sale) & use the focuser from that?

Well engineered "replacement" focusers can be bought but tend to cost in excess of £100 ... the better ones, well in excess.
