f/750 and f/1200

f/750 and f/1200

Hi all
Can anyone tell me would i be better of getting the skywatcher 150pl with f/1200 or the 150p with f/750
is there a advantage in the bigger f/stop i will be taking photos with a nikon d7000 until i can get a better astro photography camera kind regards gem budders :?

I'm not an expert but I think it depends on if you are going to be going for deep sky objectgs or planets. Anybody else got an opinion?

The f/750 is the faster scope for photography but it is also likely to be more sensitive to collimation errors but the tube is shorter so a little easier to handle. If this is a first scope have a look at http://gardenastronomy.moonfruit.com
