For me it has to be Orion for the unmistakable figure it represents, M42 and the different colours of the brightest stars. Living in a lower latitude (35.9N) than the UK, Sagittarius with its DSOs and Scorpius are both magnificent constellations.

Sonia means the issue of S@N with N American Nebula as Picture of the Month.

Ah, right. It doesn't stand out in my mind but I must have seen it as I've bought all issues of S@N since day one.

sorry i posted on the wrong string, deep sky. anyway, i would say orion, theres lots to see and is easy for me to find[:D]

[b]Cassiopeia[/b] I have always love obsevering in Cassiopeia with its rich star fields. Also the double cluster is a favorite of mine.
