Finally joined!

Postby Kristian87 » Sat Dec 16, 2017 7:08 pm

Hello there,

So I'm Kristian, & after telling myself for so long (won't say how long!) that I will join this forum, I finally have. Been a magazine subscriber for a couple of years now...

Little about me; in the last 5 years or so there were a few key things that piqued my interest & it's kind of snowballed from there...namely the Curiosity Rover landing on Mars, the Brian Cox Wonders program - I forget which one specifically & a book; Angels & Demons by Dan Brown (which dives in to the whole Science vs Religion thing which I found fascinating).

You won't be surprised to hear that one of my hobbies is now Astrophotography. I've dabbled over the past few years & I have been lucky enough to have collected a good range of kit. I actually have an Astrophotography question to post - but I'll find somewhere sensible to do that!

Anyway, looking forward to using this forum & ultimately picking up the pace on this hobby :)

Cheers

Welcome. I look forward to hearing about your observations, and images.
I use an 11" Celestron SCT (CPC 1100) on an equatorial wedge, housed in a 2.2m Pulsar observatory. I use a ZWO ASI1600MC and Canon 500D for imaging.
