Hello all from the vallies s wales

Hi all. Been interested in what's above years often looking up wondering what's what. Last few years occasionally using binocular but for Christmas received a sky watcher 130m. After setting it up and eagerly waiting for a clear night. we went out with the wide angle then once we got used to it we put the Barlow on and were surprised to see lines of colour on jupiter and 4 moons. Can't wait to get out again and try the other eye pieces. Any tips much appreciated.

Good to hear you're making a good start. Apart from the moon, the Orion nebular, M42, is another easy target to be fascinated with.
