Hello from N Wales

Thought I would register here as I keep coming across forum posts when googling stuff :)

Had a casual interest in astronomy for several years, always try and watch the TV programmes etc.
Anyway, looking to buy my first scope this year if time and money allows!
I have been using the search tool but expect questions...

A telescope is not necessarily the best thing to start. Have you any binoculars? Also, try using a camera with some sort of "night mode" and you can capture stars.
