Home - made zoom telescope using recovered materials of different optical devices.

The system is actually combining two telescopes mounted one after another.
Quality of images is very dependent on the quality of optical elements used.
Especially the quality of lens L1 , but also of L3(binocular lens) - L4(Abbe type orhoscopic) considering the zoom lens is quality.
I was lucky, the maximum magnification image quality score is 9 with a high contrast.
Telescope tubes are made of PVC tube.

Just had a look at your posts on CN -- some excellent ideas, and very nicely presented. Thanks for sharing.

It may not be the best looking scope ever but i can certainly see how it works. If the optics are of good quality it could be really GOOD.
