The Isle of Wight Star Party is now taking bookings. There are a limited number of chalets and hard standings - so book early to avoid disappointment.

The Star Party is booking up fast, but there are still chalets available – so book now or you may have to stay in a tent!

Booking forms and more information is available at: www.iowstarparty.org

or email: info@iowstarparty.org

We have just had confirmation that a Rocket-man will talk to us about his work at the rocket testing site (Needles New Battery), so make sure you also book for the visit.

Trade stands that have confirmed their attendance are:

There is an indoor area to meet and chat with other astronomers at all times. We also have some lectures available if the weather is not kind.

Hi All,

We had a very successful first event, and are very pleased with the response from those that attended.

There are reports and comments to be found on the isle of wight star party yahoo group, which is found at http://tech.groups.yahoo.com/group/iowstarparty or linked from the web site at http://www.iowstarparty.org/

A brilliant first of many we hope.

Bill
