M42 Orion nebula

Hi all I managed to get a couple of images of M42 the orion nebula last night in the cold.Thanks for looking,hope you enjoy.

That looks good! There is no ambiguity about that image. The dark dust cloud known as the 'fish's mouth' is clearly seen, as so are the 'trapezium' stars. You could now try increasing the exposure time, and see if you can get the fainter detail at the edges.
I use an 11" Celestron SCT (CPC 1100) on an equatorial wedge, with an 80mm refractor as a guidescope. They are housed in a 2.2m Pulsar observatory. I use a ZWO ASI1600MC for imaging.

Hi Aratus I will try with increasing the exposure but is quite difficult at times as I control the scope manually,but I will have a go and see what results I can achieve.I also used a plate solver the other day and it pinpointed what star cluster I had taken an image.
