M82 Supernova, M81 & NGC3077 23/1-25/1/14

I managed a couple of sessions last week & captured the Supernova on both occasions so pretty pleased to have done so.

Firstly here's Thursday nights attempt, it was quite calm so I dusted off the cobwebs from the 10" Newtonian & managed to fire off some shots. Just a pity that the polar alignment was off slightly

63 1 minute unguided Subs & 22 darks taken using a 250P & modified Canon 1000D taken at the dark site 23/1/2014.

Secondly here's more from Saturday night, on this occasion it was extremely windy so there was no way I could use the Newtonian so I mounted the C80ED & took a few shots before I got clouded out so I was quite surprised to have got anything.

M81, NGC3077 & M82 taken at the dark site using a C80ED Modified Canon 1000D

9-3 minute unguided subs with 9 darks & bias.

Please excuse the poor quality of these as they are off my Facebook page & it messes up the resolution.

Excellent as always tich! Can you upload a high resolution version as I'd love to have a closer look? All over had is rain and cloud!

These I've just uploaded to my photobucket account although due to the size of them the forum isn't showing all the image.
