East Lincolnshire Astronomy Club Aug meeting

Here are the details for the ELAC August meeting..

ELAC next meeting is on Aug 11th @ Gibraltar point, Skegness, Lincolnshire from 8pm.
This month we are holding a perseids meteor shower watch this is a free event all you will need is a sun lounger (for comfort) and some warm clothes.

East Lincolnshire Astronomy Club May Details

Here are the details of this months meeting.



ELAC meets on Sat 19th of May @ Gibraltar point nature reserve, Skegness, Lincs from 8pm, free to attend and all very welcome. (min £1 parking fee to be paid at parking metre on site) we meet in the visitor centre car park.



This months subjects for observation include the Planets Saturn Mars and Venus and also the Virgo cluster.

Here are the details of next weekends meeting.

We will be holding our next meeting at Gibraltar Point Nature Reserve, Skegness on Saturday April 21. Anyone with an interest in the night sky is very welcome to attend. We will be meeting in the visitor centre car park at 8pm. Meetings are free (min £1 car park fee).

Friday, February 17 6.30-9.30pm. Swansea Astronomical Society is holding a Star Party and society members will be giving talks on “Sunspots and the Weather” at 7.15 pm and “The Wonders of the World and the Universe” at 8.15 pm. Stargazing live 2012

As part of BBC's Stargazing live 2012,we are holding an event at the Isaac Newton Primary school,Dysart Road,Grantham, Lincolnshire,from 6.30pm until 9.30pm.Telescopes to loom through,tea and coffee and interactive activities in the hall along with kids activities.Check the school web site for updates.BBC Lincolnshire are coming as well as the local paper.There will be a feature hopefully in astronomy now magazine.
