Galloway Star Camp 28th Sept to 3rd Oct

Hello all
Galloway star camp kicks off soon! I have my tent and scopes ready. I hope to get some good shots this year with my Astrotrac mounted Equinox ED80. I will also be taking my 6inch SCT and 8 Inch Celestron reflector for some visual too. I am the best prepared I have ever been so here goes..... I hope to see as many of you there as possible.

Ilkeston & District AS - Spring Astronomy Open Day - Saturday June 11th 2011

As part of our 30th birthday celebrations the Ilkeston & District AS are holding its late Spring Astronomy Open Day at the Visitor Centre, Shipley Country Park, Slack Lane, Heanor, Derbyshire, on Saturday June 11th. Doors open from 9:30am until around 4pm.
