Baker Street Irregular Astronomers Meeting

The next meeting of our astronomical society will be on the 5th of January 2011 at the Hub in Regents park London at 18:30.

The event is free to attend and is being held to coincide with the BBC stargazing live television event which will be shown on BBC2 from the 3rd until the 5th of January. So I would encourage anyone in London who is interested in the night sky to come along.

Polar (classical concert) featuring the Northern Lights - 8 Jan, Liverpool

If you've never seen the Northern Lights, here's your chance to get a taste of what you're misssing by seeing an auroral display in HD on a big screen. The aurora forms part of Polar, a live concernt by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic, which is set to spectacular HD footage of the most extreme regions on Earth.

8 January 2011 - shows at 2.30pm and 7.30pm.

Just a quick bit of information, the Baker street irregular astronomers are holding a free to attend star party in regents park London on the 8th December 2010 at 18:30 -22:00. It's also free to join the society as well.

Worcester Stargazing LIVE events - 5 to7 Jan
