New member

Hello everyone. I am from Liverpool and I am returning to astronomy after many years of absence. I can't say I have a specific area of interest at the moment but I have never managed to see the rings of Saturn and those galaxies look pretty cool too! I have already posted a silly question and will probably continue as I started.

Hello from N Wales

Thought I would register here as I keep coming across forum posts when googling stuff :)

Had a casual interest in astronomy for several years, always try and watch the TV programmes etc.
Anyway, looking to buy my first scope this year if time and money allows!
I have been using the search tool but expect questions...

...and goodnight from me....

Hi There.

I am brand new to astronomy... I always have had a massive interest in the skies, always pointing out stuff going on, but never owned a telescope until today.

My wife and daughter got me a Sky-Watcher pro series Skymax 150mm Maksutov-Cassegrain for Christmas. but it did not come with a tripod. I need to sort that out soon, but cost will be a constraint, I will probably make myself a Dobsonian Telescope ...
