Observation of Uranus

Postby reuben » Fri Jul 16, 2010 6:36 pm

If I have uploaded correctly there should be an image of Jupiter +visible moons in the early hours of July 10th. To the right of the image of Jupiter (deliberately over exposed) wil be found a blue / green object which I am presuming to be Uranus. The problem is that I have a similar image, taken about the same time, which shows a very similar blue / green object to the left but well below Jupiter. The telescope was a Meade LX90 8 inch Schmidt Cassegrain so there is an image inversion. The camera was a Canon 450D. Am I seeing Uranus or something else and which image is what?
