It's so dark, so dark on the edge of France !

A place to discuss the dreaded orange glow

It's so dark, so dark on the edge of France !

Good news here in the inky black darkness of wild west France !
The local coucil is to sign "La Charte de protection du Ciel Nocturne" which means all the local areas have to follow suit.
Lights out earlier & no uplighting etc.

It's gonna be dark 'round here, REAL dark coz it's pretty dark here deja ! [:o]

Sounds good .... the main things that put me off emigrating are the language & French attitudes to immigrants .... I don't want to be treated like they treat gyppos ....

It is good Brian !

I realise that immigration isn't any sort of issue in the UK & everyone loves to have a gypo camp next door. I'll conveniently forget the recent news item of a "traveller" camp being dismantled in East Anglia somewhere or other. If you change your mind, don't bring your caravan & you'll have nothing to worry about ! [;)]

Obviously you still like to keep in touch with current affairs, travellers are more than welcome here.

To be fair, I had a good friend who was a "proper" Romany, wasn't on the rob, just a wheeler dealer.
To be unfair, I used to be the proud owner of the widest cow'orn handle bars in town until the Gypos had my bike away ! [:@]
I'm over it now ! [:D]
