Hi Paul,

Looks OK to me.

What's up with the weather? Clear again this am, but I'll bet it clouds over after sunset [:@]

Here is a white light drawing made forty minutes ago, showing how our star is looking.

There is a lot of faculae visible around the solar limb, and the seeing is very good. There was very little shimmer whilst I was making my sketch.

Nikon RA65 with Baader WL filter.

AR 1343 and 1342 are still visible but they are about to rotate round the back of the disk.
AR 1341 is still there, it's small. And is surrounded by facuale. These are visible below AR1342
AR 1346-47-52 and 1350 were also visible. AR 1352 had a small spot visible, surrounded in faculae

There are nine active regions today, I managed eight of them, I'd need better eyesight for the ninth!
I can see thirteen sunspots in total spread around the disc with plage, six in the south east in two regions.
Prominences like trees are visible due north and north east. Others are around the western limb.
Large broad filaments are due east and north in the disc. Nice day for viewing.

Four active regions are within the disc with sunspots and plage. The largest spot with companion is in the south west quarter. Numerous large prominences in groups are on the north west, north east and south east rims. Several broad filaments are present throughout the disc. A very active Sun, worth a look.

The Sun has four active regions with sunspots, I managed three. There are very large promineces on the south west limb and smaller ones on the north east limb. Broad filaments are located close to the north east and west limb. The prominences are certainly worth a look.

Very nice detail in that drawing Paul,

And guess what. We have an Aurora. And it's cloudy where we live
