Back with a new scope!

Postby cyclops » Sun Mar 04, 2018 4:43 pm

It's been a while since I was here, but I'm coming back into Astronomy with a new scope (a very early Father's Day pressie)
I can't accommodate a big scope, and there's no way I'm leaving a big expensive scope out in the garden round here. So I decided on a little spotter, an Orion GoScope III 70mm. I currently have a 75mm spotter but its a birding scope and only has a 27x eyepiece. I wanted something a bit more astro if you know what I mean...

The [IMG] tag works with any 'public' image, I usually use Google Photos, so long you've allowed sharing.

Yea I used to use Photobucket but they've gone pay only, and their site is terrible now.

Let's try the IMG tag!

Unfortunately, you need to have the url of the actual image within the IMG tags, rather than the container, which makes it trickier. Right clicking didn't give me the address, but I trawled through the flickr page source code and identified the image shown here.
