Room for one more?

Postby psychobilly » Tue Jun 03, 2008 8:53 pm

Ok ...

My CPC800XLT is now seriously "Phat"....;)

Just added a mount for a DSLR with "normal" lenses on it as well....only space left was on one of the guide rings so I made an adaptor bracket out of duralumin to take one of my Manfroto Ball Joints..

Think I have just about got all the bases covered now...apart from the 3D balancing system which is the next project once I have scrounged the materials...got the 4" brass for the weights need the 25x10 HE30 bar for the bottom bar...

Billy...

That one's only a baby ... I'm using the RC4 system (410PL plate), the plate is 85mm x 65mm, really solid even when used to support a 400mm f/2.8 lens which weighs 5.4 Kg (without camera body!)

If you want a real laugh, turn up somewhere with a giant tripod & use it to mount a compact camera which is smaller than the QR plate[8D]
