On December 21 will happen a total lunar eclipse.

On January 4 2011 will be a partial solar eclipse.

Hmmm a little confused. Eclipse at moonset- that would make it invisible in those areas?(UK)

It's been cloudy all morning down here in South Wales, so no eclipse viewing here at all [:@]. Did anyone get a good look? What was it like?

Hello, i managed to photograph it up to 3 minutes before totality then a big cloud bank rolled in and that was that! Will post a few pics later on.

Forecast for Wiltshire is grey cloud, so looks like another event lost to the weather.

Clouded out here this morning, also missed the December 21st Lunar eclipse due to cloud.Its bloody sickening.[>:][:@]

Clouded out here, too (as predicted!). Also lost the Quadrantids and Ursids. Slim chance of a bin scan for sunspots later but I'm not holding my breath.
