Hi folks

What is your favourite space related movie?

Either factual or sci-fi or both.

Mine is For All Mankind and The Right Stuff.

Oh and 2001!

Regards

Moon is really good - it was released at the cinemas last year. Directed by Duncan Jones - son of David Bowie. An all-too-rare example of a really good low-budget sci-fi film - I think it's British-made too.

Yes Moon is a great movie, I have it on Bluray. The pace of the film draws you in.

Reminds me a little of Silent Running, Gerty the robot in Moon was like a combination of Heuy Lewie and Dewie.

Aliens was enjoyable, loved armageddon, but at the other end of the scale I liked silent running too. Also I recieved moon as a christmas present, enjoyed it, but a little disapointed with the ending.

I just bought the box set of the Alien films at xmas, spent a good few hours getting through those, and the last two were a little better than i remember too.

"In the Shadow of the Moon" is stunning though. Apollo astronauts and amazing footage.
Im going have to watch it tonight now, just from thinking about it [:)]
