These are really good, with lots of detail. There are blotches of faculae, and some granulation there too. Definitely one to illustrate the log book!
I use an 11" Celestron SCT (CPC 1100) on an equatorial wedge, housed in a 2.2m Pulsar observatory. I use a ZWO ASI1600MC and Canon 500D for imaging.

Hi Aratus thanks for the comments,I used my goto and put on solar tracking which helped me a lot as I didn't have to worry about keep moving the scope.I only had to do was focus using my automatic focuser so manage to get good images apart from the wind.
Thanks
Andy

sunspot 2661

Postby andrewscomputers » Thu Jun 01, 2017 6:43 pm

Hi all I managed to get an image of the emerging sunspot today on the limb, but was not very easy to do as the wind distorted the image,so manage to get 1 shot out of 60.
Thanks
Andy

You're getting very good at this! The bright faculae stand out really well on the limb
