Please, please revert to a more restrained style of presentation, and above all else, replace Dr Maggie Aderin-Pocock with asomeone who does not have such a patronising and frankly, irritating voice and style of delivery. She is the main, but, not only reason I do not watch this great and revered programme anymore. What was something of an educational jewel to look forward to every month is now a circus. Sir PM should be cringing in his grave.

Having just watched the November 12th episode on iPlayer, which was about transitory astronomical events, I thought is was one of the better episodes and really quite informative.

If I could take over Sky At Night, I would probably return it to something like its original format. It would open with a tour of the current night's sky, and mention of any special events. A filmed report from the world of professional or amateur astronomy. A studio guest. The proportion of these three would depend on the subject or what was happening at the time.
