Update: June 24th

The comet's now a very difficult target from the UK having dropped in altitude and fighting the light from a bright Moon! NLC's are happening but only appear to be visible from the far north of the country at the moment. You never know with NLC's though and they could still put up a good display right into the start of August.

Keep a look out for the Moon illusion over the next few days which makes the fullish Moon look falsely large when it's low down and close to the horizon. In reality, it's size is actually marginally smaller than when it's higher up in the sky!

Jupiter's now getting higher as the early morning sky starts to brighten. More on this planet in next month's follow up...
