Some of us buy cheap telescopes but our level of disposable income shrinks over time. Our choices are to give up on astronomy or squeeze the last pips out of what we have. </rant>

Out of the options I've seen mentioned, the Skywatcher Startravel 80 is the best option, whether you are stuck with it or are able to get a larger telescope later and you can still use the ST80 for widefield use, rather than trade it in for a low price.

anything below 200$ is good for a start.. than upgrade

I'll start off by saying that if you haven't already got binoculars, 10x50 ones are better for beginners than a telescope.

I disagree about starting with a reflector and suggest that you get an 80mm short-tune refractor instead.
