What are your pros and cons - Bino viewers

I have a 120 Apo and a Celestron Edge 8" SC

Do you have an astro club nearby that has observing evenings? You may find someone who can let you try them out.

I have no experience of them myself. I know they will roughly halve the light going into each eye, but on the other hand, using both eyes improves your acuity - I've read somewhere that the overall effect is perceived as about a 30% reduction in brightness, but using both eyes gives a really immersive effect that you simply can't get with one eye.
I don't know whether they are designed to allow adjustments in focus between the two eyes; if not, you would need to have the same level of defect (or perfectly corrected defects) in both eyes to be able to use them.

However, my first point stands, if you get the opportunity, you would probably do well to see if they work for you.
