Andromeda Galaxy

Equipment: Canon EOS 1000D DSLR camera (modded); Ikharus 102mm ED APO refractor; Celestron AVX mount (unguided).
15×60 second exposures.
It was taken on the evening of 22 December 2016 from my back garden in north Oxfordshire. It was absolutely freezing but I was determined to see it through as the sky was pretty transparent. I’m thankful I did, especially due to the detail captured around the core.
