Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount & Equinox 80mm refractor& Atik 320e colour camera.
Fantastic sight from my backgarden. Perfect conditions. Good visibility and no clouds.
Took a set of images every ten minutes and choose the best nine. This left plenty of time to enjoy the spectacle.
Ten minutes between partial eclipse and 30 minutes between full eclipse images. So image times where 02:20, 02:30, 02:40, 03:10, 03:50, 04:20, 04:50, 5:00, and 5:10 BST.
Thought I was going to struggle with tiredness but the excitement of the event kept me going.
Didn’t have the field of view for the whole disk. So did a two picture mosaic of ten images each for the full eclipse images.
For the partial eclipse rotated the camera and took fifteen images. Corrected the orientation in post processing.
Used the histogram on my capture software to make sure exposure times were spot on.
