Galaxy 30 million light years away in the constellation Andromeda.

Similar in diameter to our own milky way at 110,000 light years.

Good visual observing object that looks good in an eyepiece, even from my light polluted back garden.

Captured some nice central dusk lane detail and colour so happy with the result.

Data Collected on two nights. 20th and 22nd of August.

LRGB image with 4 hours and 30 minutes of data. 27 x Lum 9 x Red 9 x Green 9 x Blue 5 minute exposures.
