Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount & Equinox 80mm refractor, Atik 383L+ camera, motorised filter wheel and Astronomik Ha LRGB filter set.
Connecting my new Atik 383L+ camera to my 80mm refractor and seeing what it can do.
Cygnus well placed and full of big emission nebula so time to dusk off Ha filter.
Imaged a familiar object to start with. Captured some of the faint hydrogen clouds. Happy with the result.
4 hours of Ha RGB data. 10 minute Ha exposures at 2×2 binning and RGB 5 minutes at 2×2 binning
Seven clear nights out of the last eight days. I’m sure the usual summer weather will return with a vengeance.
