Large emission nebula in the constellation Monoceros.
Bok globules at the top and right of the image. These are dense areas of dust and gas that maybe star forming regions.
Data collected over 2 Nights 7th & 9th of January.
Lost a couple of hours of data because of clouds. But 4 hours was enough for this bright object. Kept binning at 1×1 to produce a hi-res image.
Camera at 90 degrees at the moment to image my next target the leo galaxy trio.
HA/OIII/OIII image with 4 hours and 30 minutes of data. 19 x 7.5min Ha & 17 x 7.5min Oiii.
