LLeyn Peninsula

Canon 600D with 18mm Lens, NEQ6 Pro mount.

I’ve always wanted a really dark sky to capture the Milky Way in all its glory so I made the trek to the tip of the Lleyn Peninsula in Wales for some of the best skies I’ve seen. This is a stack of eight 2 min photos taken with a modified Canon 600D on a 18mm lens at 1600ISO. To prevent a blurry foreground, I took a single frame untracked and overlaid the horizon onto the image.
