It was taken from my back garden in Kirkby-in-Ashfield (Near Mansfield) using an Officina Stellare Hiper Apo 115mm refractor on an NEQ6 mount. This was guided using an Altair mini-guide scope with QHY5II camera and PHD2 guiding. The image was captured using an Atik 383L+ with an Atik EW2 filter wheel and Astrodon HA, OII and SII filters. I took 12 x 10 minute exposures through each of the three filters i.e. 36 exposures with total exposure time of 6 hours. I used Bias, Darks and Flats as calibration frames. Captured using Sequence Generator and processed using PixInsight and Photoshop CC.
This photo was taken over 3 nights 4th, 5th and 7th of March 2016 of IC405 Flaming Star Nebula.
I am a keen member of Mansfield and Sutton Astronomical Society.
