A very difficult subject to image without proper filters, this area of the sky is a very interesting one.
The image captures Garnet Star, a very beautiful red supergiant, maybe the biggest star that we can see with the naked eye and no less than 9 dark nebulae, identified using Barnard’d dark nebulae catalog.
Integration time for the picture is small due to weather conditions but I managed to capture a glimpse of the surrounding nebulosity.
I wish to revisit this area in the future from a dark sky location and using proper filters and imaging equipment.
