Composition of multiple Geminid meteors above Enisala, Dobrogea, during the night of December 12-13, 2017. I only selected the brighter meteors shot during the night; there are also two non Geminids there (can you spot them?). Out of all meteors shot during that night, one was beautifully coloured.

I was close the fortress at Enisala (you can actually see the fortress on the hill to the left), built by the Genovese merchants at the beginning of the 14th century. It’s the only medieval fortress in Dobrogea (a province in SE Romania) that survived the Russo-Turkish wars in the 19th century. It’s located close to the rich biodiversity area of the Danube Delta, a UNESCO World Heritage site.
