Having another go at this emission nebula in the constellation of Auriga.
Increased hydrogen alpha exposure times. 2×2 binned oxygen and sulphur data to help capture the faint detail.
Stella winds from young stars sculpt the gas and dust into the tadpole shapes in the upper right of the image.
Open star cluster NGC 1893 near the centre with a size of 11 arc minutes.
This cluster helped with the framing and made it easy to get the telescope in the same position on different nights.
Data collected on four nights. 30th October 2017. 12th, 16th & 26th November 2017.
Sii/ha/oiii image with 14 hours of data. 13 x 20min Sii 2×2 binning, 15 x 20min Ha 1×1 binning, 14 x 20min Oiii 2×2 binning.
