Emission nebula in the constellation Cygnus. Cygnus high in the sky at the moment so well placed for imaging.
Very near the brighter American nebula so not imaged that much.
Has a bright ionisation front on the left hand side that responds well to narrowband filters and the hubble palette.
Trying longer exposures for oxygen and sulphur to offset the strong hydrogen component of the nebula.
Data Collected on 3 nights, 31st July, 1st & 3rd of August.
I was hoping the oxygen data would be stronger. I boosted the blue channel in photoshop to help.
Sii/ha/oiii image with 6 hours and 16 minutes of data. 17 x 8min Sii & 21 x 4min Ha & 18 x 8min Oiii all unbinned.
