Supernova remmant of a star that exploded in 1054.
Small object so my 11″ scope is perfect for high resolution imaging of this nebula.
Created a Narrowband hubble palette image to revel as much of the faint detail as possible.
My NEQ6 struggles with this 11″ scope near the meridian but exposure times can be cut down to 5 minute. Still saving up for an EQ8 mount.
SII/HA/OIII image with 4 hours and 20 minutes of data. 19 x 5min Ha & 18 x 5min Oiii & 15 x 5 min Sii.
