Swindon, Wiltshire.

Teleskop service 12″ Richey-Chretien telescope, Skywatcher EQ8 mount,Atik 383L+ camera, Astronomik LRGB filters,
Hutech IDAS light pollution filter, Astro physics 0.67 reducer.

Difficult and hard galaxy target next on my imaging hit list.

Listed on messier catalogue at 8.9 magnitude but this is spread out over a wide area. So the detail is faint.

Used the lumanice layering technique and a focal reducer to help with this.

Also started imaging run when the altitude was high. When there is less atmosphere in the way.

Data collected on two nights. 19th, 20th January 2017.

LRGB image with 7 hours 45 mins of data. 17 x Lum 7 x Red 4 x Green 5 x Blue 15 minute exposures.
