Celestron C11 Sct, Skywatcher NEQ6 pro mount,Atik 383L+ camera, motorised filter wheel and Astronomik filters.
Barred spiral galaxy in the constellation Ursa Major. Only 40 minutes away from the 2nd magnitude star Phad in the big dipper.
Small Object at 7 x 4 minutes but has Well defined spiral arms and core shape.
At magnitude 9.8 I thought my telescope might struggle. Seems this magnitude is concentrated in the spiral arms and core so this image worked out nicely.
50% moon in taurus tonignt. Didn’t cause any problems with this image.
LRGB image with 5 hours and 35 minutes of data. 34 x Lum 11 x Red 11 x Green 11 x Blue 5 minute exposures.
