This is M27, the Dumbbell Nebula, which is a planetary nebula in the constellation of Vulpecula. For a planetary nebula it has a large angular size and is quite bright in Ha and [OIII] emission. Even so I was absolutely delighted to be able to bring out the outer halo with only two hours worth of data.
